Animal Slavery
The flashing lights and
The aroma of peanuts
Bring you to the circus
But the entertainment that you fantasize
Is just enslavement in disguise
Behind the red curtains
Elephant lay in shackles
Ripped from their families
With freedom out of reach
The lion tamer abusing his power
Whipping the king of the jungle
And if he dare roar,
Another whip he will receive
Treated like prisoners
Locked up, suffering away
Left to die when useless to the circus
The never ending cycle needs to come to an end
Keep the animals out of the scene
As animal enslavement should not create
Human entertainment.
