A Minor Insight
The faucet drips
A single tear ambles its way down the basin
Empty of all hope
An eerie reminder of the abandoned
Like a distant drum, it drips again
The hopes suffocating, drowning
In the tears of the forgotten
With eyes closed tight
They wait
As the world goes up in smoke
And yet, the faucet drips again
