The Forgotten House
An empty shell of a home
Perched directly by the tracks
The railroad house
Trains flew by everyday
No one ever saw the house
The house by the train tracks
No one saw the sunrise
Illuminate the sides of the house
Of the forgotten house
The sun cast creepy shadows,
Shadows that hid the front door
The house with the mysterious door
No one ever took notice
Of the house until it was gone
The forgotten house that vanished.
