Kingdom
Your body is a temple,
sacred and wonderous.
I do not deny this but yet...
what of my mind?
Is my mind not
sacred and extraordinary?
Full of life and ambition?
Guiding a path from
hurt to happiness.
What fuels my
fire and ambition.
Yet shouts come from men,
calling powerful women,
psychotic, crazy, stupid, dumb, and insane
like it’s nothing.
Well sir,
I tell you now not to play with fire,
because you will get burned.
And if my body is a temple,
then I ask you not to deny this,
my mind is a kingdom.

I wrote this when I was thinking about the amount strength and beauty women have. I want women around the world to read this, and remember the power they hold within themselves and to not let anyone dare try to put out their fire.
