Lain
Her world is one of shadows.
Onyx chains as thin as nails enfold
her being,
Veiling haunting
pale skin.
Tendrils of insanity curl around her,
Drawing perspectives
And imbuing meaning
Her color is one not perceived
Other beings
can only see
Light and shadow and between
For them
Color is a constant
Black
she comprehends
This is her choice
She tumbles through the threads of madness
Sewing
a concept
of existence
Embracing the shadows in her psyche
An identity is fabricated
She is Lain
