Feelings of The Brain
Darkness seeps into your veins, your heart, your soul
Pain reaps itself in the form of anger
Listen! Keep on Listening! Be angry!
Try to rip my skin of its flesh
Try to suppress my heart, my feelings
Swim in your bubble of lies and pain
Breathe in the air of anger and oppression
Take away my heart-- you need one!
Feel the wrath of my emotion
Listen to the heart! Not the mind!
Start ticking like a time bomb
Explode--crumble, turn to dust
The heart always survives, but the mind always dies
Just don't let me die with you

Emotion and reason are always pitted against one another. When I wrote this poem, I felt attacked for expressing my emotions by people consumed by logic and pure reason. However, what they failed to realize was that the universe needs both.
