Favorite Quote:
"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first Law of Equivalent Exchange."

Remove the light from my eyes,
Give me truths—the form of lies,
Render me in the darkest time,
Leave the innocent—YOUR crime,
Beyond my chains more locks await,
To declare me a hopeless fate,
I gave up everything eons ago,
Time will tell each new woe,
The wound tears open after years,
Now I've lived all my fears,
Prepare myself for what lies beyond,
This endless pain won't break the bond,
Between two souls that should be one,
Just wait until the world is done.

Someone letting me down was the heartbreaking inspiration for this poem.
