We march across desert sand
While ice courses through our veins.
Hot steel is lost in cool sand,
Yet our demons still remain
Black birds-of-prey soar low overhead
In a blood-stained blue sky.
The sun no longer offers her warmth
As we listen to cold, convincing lies.
We will walk out from the light,
And plunge into the dark with
Lives flashing 'fore our eyes
Ignited by only a spark
War will not restrain her words
As human flesh begins to sear.
We each fight for a single cause
Yet struggle through separate fears.
Vacant faces watching from above,
We are diseases of their land
A spreading virus to destroy,
But carry blood upon our hands.
Empty cases are spread among us,
As even closest friend turns to foe.
Sullen faces are tarnished reds,
As their open eyes still seem to glow.
But even we, the most loyal of friends,
Are caught in a pre-destined fate.
These men shall scream, but save their words
They are carried with them to their grave.
Oo-rah.
