He used to be my best friend,
Its sad to see things come to an end,
But now he is dating another girl,
And she is his whole entire world.

He fell in love with her at first sight,
Which made me mad and caused a fight,
She is way prettier which makes me mad,
And not being his friend makes me sad.

His girlfriend hates me with a passion,
She looks at me like I am so old fashion,
She found out that I secretly love him,
And got worried I would come above them.

But I know he would always choose her over me,
Because he couldn't live one day without his baby,
He says he wants to be friends but I don't believe it,
I'm so sick of all his stupid s***.

I know he is gone but I want him back,
And his laugh that gives me a heart attack,
I remember when I used to be the “apple of his eye,”
But I also remember all the times he made me cry.

I know that now he is gone,
But sometimes it keeps me up until dawn,
I think and wonder what I did wrong,
I guess I knew it was gonna happen all along.

Don't get me wrong,
I'm gonna stay strong,
And I'm happy they're together,
But I don't want them to last forever.

I remember when me and him used to hang out,
And he had the cutest little face when he would pout,
He knew how to make me laugh out loud,
Even when we were with lots of people in a crowd.

I miss him so very much,
I crave the feeling of his touch,
But alas he is far and long gone,
And everything in my heart feels wrong.

But if he wants me to leave him alone,
Even though that pain cuts deep in my bone,
I'll do what he wishes,
Pick up my heart that's shattered like broken dishes.

Get over him and move on,
Let him leave and be long gone,
Whenever I see him say hello,
Even though my heart feels like jello.
