Un-Whole
Breaking again,
As the road disappears,
Falling to shards,
I hear words in my ears,
Never going to be enough,
Never better than broken,
Beautiful only to the eyes,
Who have never truly been open.
Falling ever endlessly,
As the rain conceals my tears.
Holding ever closely,
the truth to all my fears.
Clinging to the gateway,
As I walk along the road,
Knowing I have to go back,
but that I will never be home.
I am doomed to walk alone,
As I am always in the silence...
Walking in these desert lands,
Consumed by my own violence,
Only pain is on my mind tonight,
As the tears fall down my face...
there is so much I haven't done,
but I am forced to leave this place,
No way to fix the problem,
No way to solve this hole...
My eyes fall shut with the effort to breathe...
Just a broken hearted woman, un-whole.
