A spinning top,
Turning gracefully upon
The table’s surface.
Dancing like a
Ballerina.
The colors fly
As you turn and twist
And your bottom spreads
Like a tutu or skirt.
But all good things
Must come to an end.
Just like a dancer
You take your final bow
And slow to a stop.
But the audience wants
An encore
And so once again
You spin in circles.
