Nightmare
A full moon glows
And wind whips by
Blood paints the snow
As a woman cries
Her tears melt patterns in the snow
Like acid rain, nothing grows
Vultures lurk in the dark
Quietly waiting to do their part
She screams and moans,
Then waits to die,
As nightmares turn to lullabies.
