The Rain

The night is the perfect night
that fits my mood.
The rain pours down as slowly as
the sinking of my mood.
As the rain begins to harden
so do my feelings.
Tonight was supposed to be a good
night but like the weather my mood
has turned sour.
If this rain lets up so might my
mood but only time will tell.
