And the signs are unclear
And I keep wondering
How we got here

Walking as we choke on laughter
That used to be us
And now our voices stay silent
All too bogus

Quiet stares
The height of my day
As I watch you slip
Slowly away

But if all of these trials
Bring me closer to you
I'll walk through fire
If you want me to
