"I am Happy to The Point of Fear" -Ralph Waldo Emmerson

Your hands hold the needles,
I am the recreation,
You pinch and pull and twist me,
Make a new sensation.

Make me what I am now,
With every ache and pain,
You give me a new patern,
but what have I to gain?

THis fabric does not suit me,
Its boring and its bland,
The texture of an iron clasp,
The color of dampened sand..

Sew me back together,
Put the pieced back in place,
Make a few adjustments,
Just touch up my face

Fix everything about me,
You think should be changed,
Stick that needle, sew me up...
Leave me, so rearranged.

Your use of imagery and metaphor is absolutely exquisite! I love your writing and hope to read more of it soon!

Its boring and its bland—I found this line a bit hard to understand because I wasn't sure if the its was possessive or a contraction. Either way, the poem is well executed. Congrats on the Editors' Choice. Great title!

Woah, that was really cool. There are so many messages hidden in this, but it is still concise and poinant.
