Like They Have Done...
Walking through the muddy ground,
Pulling myself up off the ground,
I can’t hear one familiar sound,
Please lend me your warm, strong hand…
My feet are stuck in 6 inch sand,
Waves come faster then I’d planned,
I’m stumbling, too weak to stand
I wish that I were Strong…
What’s the point in walking on?
I haven’t been held in far too long,
Sing the harmonies to my song…
I cannot stand to be alone…
One wrong move and you are gone,
I stumble as walk along,
Now I know where I belong..
But I am happy to the point of fear..
I've been on my own these years,
I have cried my ocean of unjustified tears,
Your face subdues and creates fears...
I trust you.. don't hurt me... like they have done..
