Chicken noodle soup,
serene, marine harmony.
Beauty concocted.
Chicken noodle soup,
a piece of chicken swims free.
A humpback whale.
Chicken noodle soup,
a child, he licks his lips.
A hungry hunter.
Chicken noodle soup,
a piece strays from the pack.
Picked out as prey.
Chicken noodle soup,
the fork looms baleful above.
A splash, it plunges.
Chicken noodle soup,
struggling, squirming, thrashing.
Finally, piercing.
Chicken noodle soup,
the hunter grins at his catch,
his heavy harpoon.
Noodle soup, chicken
hoisted out of habitat.
Beauty disrupted.
