Mailman
No matter the weather, rain or snow, hot or cold, you always come, except on
Sundays
You walk up and down the many streets delivering the bills, checks, important
letters, and birthday cards of many
The bills that I may not want, but they need to be paid
The checks I do want, though, to pay the bills and for the occasional treat
The important letters, from acceptance letters into college to a letter from
that old friend, are delivered by you
The birthday cards are wanted too, filled with birthday wishes and
blessings
All these letters are important, each in their own way
I sing a song of praise for my mailman for delivering my mail no matter the
weather
My praise and gratitude go out to you for your hard work and never-ending
dedication to your job
A job that is overlooked but needed in everyone's lives
