sometimes the world is tired.
the buds don't
bloom on time
still sleeping in
it's early april

and sometimes the world is angry.
letting gentle buttercups
wilt in dismay
shriveled petals
of what could've been

and sometimes the world is joyful
for no reason at all.
sometimes the world
lets the sky stay blue
keeps the wind warm
lets the trees stay green
in fall.
and here is the deepest secret
in the entire world
my darling.
sometimes the world
lets me love you
and that's when

i love the world

This is just a simple poem in the style of e.e. cummings. It's about love, and how wonderfully simple it can be.
