Blood Rose
Delicate and so fragile
Yet so heavily guarded
A cut upon thy flesh
Blood raining down upon your soft and sweet delicate petals
Taking upon thy sweet life force
Bloody rose I hold you close to my heart
My eyes close in an eternal slumber

My grandmother is in the hospital from conjested heart failure. She had fluid in her lungs and around her heart. She is doing fine now,But when I found out she was in hospital, I started thinking "this is it she is gonna die". I was so afraid of losing her that I started to feel depressed. So I wrote a poem to express how I felt and how losing her would be like taking away everything I am. "A cut upon they flesh, blood raing doen upon your soft and sweet delicate petals, taking upon thy sweet life force" is talking bout her heart failing on her and how losing her is like taking everything I am, Everything I live for.
