Theatre of Life
I am but a prop
in this theatre.
Not a star--
Not creator.
I do not sing,
I do not speak.
For, my voice is all too weak.
I play the wall--
a simple task.
Forever hide behind my mask.
And when this play
of life is done.
One character dead,
another shunned--
I will forever be seen as the wall
that stood through life
and watched it all.
