The path
You look upon this world I made
Not knowing which direction to take
The path you walk
Although not straight
Is filled with both
Love and hate
You look upon this world again
But the path you took now comes to an end
Instead of turning back around
You tread through the unbroken ground
And in your wake a new path forged
For all new souls that must take this course
A course filled with tempting things
That most people don’t go without
But looking through the clouded sky’s
A man must know a real lie
This is learned from mentors like you
That take the time to help people through
So know that the clear path you took
Was made by the people that taught you
