As Long As You're Happy
I remember that crisp fall night,
The way my stomach sank when I heard the news.
You were gone,
Out of our lives forever.
I'll miss the way you laugh,
It would brighten up the room.
I'll miss the way you would tell your joke,
Everyone's faces would light up.
What happened?
Why must God put us through so much pain?
You were too young,
Too talented.
I will never forget the flowers on your grave,
They seemed like the only color on that black and white day.
I will never forget that feeling,
Like nothing would ever be the same.
Your smile will always remain in our hearts.
Your voice will always ring in our ears.
I hope you rest in peace.
As Long As You're Happy.
