The Delaware River
All icky and dirty
Though perfect for tubing and fishin too
Even watching the boats pass under the opened bridge
As we wait to cross over
Back home to Jersey
After a long day with my grandparents
Though I barely remember much of it
One thing I'll never forget
Is that dirty river I crossed every day
