The dumber people think you are, the more surprised they'll be when you kill them

Time and again my hopes have been lost
I had believed in you but that came at a great cost
I once trusted you but never again, or so I thought
You ensnared me with sweet words and once again I was caught
You fooled me over and over it was truly unjust

But no matter, I would always have trust
That was to be my downfall; soon my trust would be lost
And yet no matter what I was easily brought
Time and again

NO, no more not again, I will not be lost
You tricked me, again and again that came at a cost
I would always trust you again and always or so you thought
Sweet words are not enough; this time you are the one caught
Whatever we were has come to an end and now everything is just
Time and again

This is a rondeau poem, and this poem is mostly about just trusting someone over and over again until you just had enough of their lies and betrayal.
