First Love
In my darkened room I lie
Fighting back my tears to cry
So instead I write down everything I miss
About how he sealed my heart with a kiss
I miss his sweet smile and his big brown eyes
I miss the way he never lies
I miss the way he joked with me
And that I was the only girl he wanted to see
I miss our phone calls late at night
And how we rarely got into fights
I miss his laugh and the sound of his voice
Falling in love with him was my only choice
I miss the way he touched, and how he stared
At me so gently with so much care
I miss the way he made me feel
And how, my heart, he wanted to heel
I miss how he intertwined
His big soft hand in mine
I miss his scent when we were close
And the tingling feeling from my head to my toes
But now months later we both are forbidden
To never see eachtoher and to be hidden
He was my first love, I will NEVER forget
Our story is a modern Romeo and Juliet
