I loved you with all my heart. Like I promised.
You said I love you.
All I could think about was you. Every second of every day.
You texted me after practice.
I told you I'd never leave. Never ever.
You held me and made me believe the same was true for you.
I trembled everytime you said goodbye. I missed you already.
You kissed me on the forehead and waved.
I kept all my promises. Because I loved you.
You left me.
I remain breathless and broken.
You didn't look back.
