Without Fame
I can't give up on my life right now
Even though I lean against black-bricked buildings
As long as the stars can still reach me on the ground
Then these Allan Poe nights can kill all the bee stings
As long as the moon still calls for me and the sky cries
I'll keep going on this journey, and make love to the night
I won't stop going forward, I will never die
Even if everyday has to be a blood-drawn fight
Let me hear the above places crash and scream with me
As the wind pulls me further into the dark heavens
I don't care if I am never heard or never seen
As long as I'm loved by someone, be it 13 or 7
Screw you, bad luck I can put up with your annoyance any day
I'll take all your punches and throw them back tenfold
My gun is my perseverence and I turn purple to all the sun rays
Walk naked in the snow, with ability to numb the cold
So, from this day forward let my name be known by those who matter
Because the earth knows I've been here and she'll treat me the same
I'll fly up to my happiness, breaking the latter
I was born a child of the night, with or without fame
