I stand upon this two way street
Neath the daystar’s silvery veil
A mere ghostly fixture seat
Bloomed florets turning pale
I stand upon this two way street
Bodies sheltered from the rain
Under umbrellas they retreat
Drip drop sounds in the drain
I stand upon this two way street
People running and all about
Oh the songbirds do sing sweet
While foxgloves finally sprout
I stand upon this two way street
Jewel colours adorn the city
At last the cycle is complete
With Mother Nature found guilty
