The Sun's Rising
No matter what the sun will rise
Hard to believe it, but it will
Its rays will glow and fill the skies.
Even if you are to blame for a baby’s cries,
Or push a person down a hill.
Don’t worry because the sun will rise.
You could tell a million lies,
Or rip off a fishes gill,
But its rays will glow and fill the skies.
Even if you are the one who tries
To shoot down and veto a bill,
Don’t shed a tear because no matter what the sun will rise.
You could cover someone in a dozen pies,
That you stole off of a windowsill,
but its rays will glow and fill the skies.
At a wedding that you bare no ties,
with a gift box that you didn’t fill.
No matter what the sun will rise,
And its rays will glow and fill the skies.
