Blue.
I long to feel the slippery coolness,
To see your sparkling jewels of Sapphire
To hear your tinkling music of water
Trickling around smooth glossy stones,
To smell your sweet fragrance of
Violets in the meadow
To taste you pure from a mountain stream
You give joy to the oceans,
Beauty to the mountains,
Color to the heavens above;
Your icicles are like dripping delicate droplets,
You announce fair weather to all
You line beautiful gowns with sparkling jewels of Sapphire
But I know that you are out there somewhere
If not on this earth then on another planet,
Giving joy to other creatures with your beauty.
