Scavenging, ravaging, eating and beating
Picking and pulling, the only one feeding
Swing swiftly down low and deliver the blow
Hidden, not ridden, but no need to know
Fluttering feathers in cruel disarray
Everything eats and everything pays
All is consumed to brighten our plumes
Leaving a path of greed, glares and gloom
Perching and searching for small sickly scramblers
Waiting on branches above ample amblers
Plummeting, plunging, an ebony end
No chance for living, no rules to bend
Suspiciously sly, watch them smile as they die
Sicken the sky as they flutter and fly
