I walk up
To the stand,
My hands start
To get clammy,
I think to myself
This cannot be good,
Then my heart
Starts beating
One million beats
Per seconds, then I think to
myself this is even worse,
Then my knees start
To wobble, I think
To myself here we go,
Then my brain starts getting
Fluttered with doubts,
I finally lift my flute,
I play the first note, and
Then I think to myself
I’m going to be alright.
