That was my best friend.
But we grew apart.
That came to an end.
On each other, we could depend.
She could read my heart.
That was my best friend.
All problems we could mend.
But changes came to a start.
That came to an end.
I would alwaysuse words to defend,
But she would throw a dart.
That was my best friend.
Notes, we would send
Slowly became tart.
That came to an end.
Suddenly, we became to rend.
We try to be friends, mot at all smart.
She was my best friend.
That came to an end.
