Just waiting there
Intimidating
One line after another,
Waiting for feeling and emotion
To be poured onto its pages.
A heartbeat
Beating so loud,
Waiting for that
One beat of music,
To move so beautiful;
Across the stage.
Wilting,
Falling closer to the ground
Waiting for water
Just one drop,
To build up strength-
Waiting for that one thing
