Helpless Homework

May 2, 2008

I don’t like going to school very much,
We get too much homework and don’t have fun.
Kids are cooped up in the classroom and such,
When they just want to go outside and run.
Most of us wish that all the teachers knew,
So that they did not give us so much of
That dreaded work to complete after school,
Although there are kids who show homework much love.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t have any,
Just chill a little and quit piling it on.
Don’t think we’ll grow up and earn just one penny,
We may make millions for a new innovation.
Take a chill pill teachers, we’ll be just fine.
Just forget the homework and enjoy this rhyme.
