an angel made from snow
December snow falls on the house
The ice breaks as I walk on thin sheets
Covering the sidewalk, sliding into friends
We laugh throwing snow balls creating angles
As we fall. Faces tight as the temperature
Drops. Running home to sip hot chocolate
Who doesn’t like warm fresh hot chocolate?
The smell of a soft batch of cookies swarms the house
My rosy cheeks die down with warm temperature
As I snuggle up on the couch under bed sheets
Falling asleep dreaming of fling with angels
Watching from above over all my friends
Spending this lovely snowing day with friends
My mouth still savoring the flavor of chocolate
I feel as if I’m surrounded by angels
Laughter filling my big house
The cookies lying cooling on many sheets
I’m finally pleased with the temperature
My house is at a pleasing temperature
Dying from laughing with my friends
After awhile I tell them to leave so I can get under my sheets
Still sipping on this amazing hot chocolate
In my empty house
Starring at my beautiful decorated angel
I wished I could fly with the angels
I open my window to the freezing temperature
