When my life finally meets the point of peace
I hope friends are the first thing I see.

I know sometimes as people we need things
Hopefully for me,
The thing I need is as simple as a wedding ring.

Sometimes my past memories
Kill the wisdom within me,
But they also bring out the faith in hope we never see.

I also find that sometimes the danger you meet ahead,
Are completely unexpected from what you thought in your head.
Moving on can be better than being in your comfort zone,
And yes friends aren’t always who you hoped they’d be
But,
When my life finally meets its point of peace
Let loving friends be the first thing I see…
