The fourth floor bedroom
Just another night
Just another family fight
What was once just a family meeting
Turns into a family beating
The memories start to flood
The memories of all the blood
My brother sitting there, holding the knife
Why did he have to take his own life?
Ever since that dreadful day
My life has been full of pain and dismay
The fourth floor beckons me
The tears make it hard to see
I slam the door
And fall to the floor
I think of sheep
And i start to sleep
A flutter of wings
Angles singing
The fear, the tears, my ringing ears
I am approached by the king
He see's my face
He see's my pain
He understands me
He knows my name
Come with us, come with us
He calls to me
Come with us, come with us
It's time to be free
I climb on his back
His feathers feel like heaven
We fly out the window
Followed by the other seven
My body in the streets
People Staring
But now i know
I'm in a place, where people are caring
I know what it's like now
To be free
Thanks to the fourth floor bedroom
For saving me
