Line Poem
My uncertainty, painted shut
We had the same catastrophe gods
Open my wrists to see we had the same heart
Made of cellophane and invisible question marks
God was a wrecking ball
God was the brakes
God was a brick wall
I could make a goddamn window beautiful,
If there was a Death,
he could see we were definitely beautiful
definitely beautiful
definitely beautiful.
But it’s not my uncertainty, if he was there.
Cheekbones
Staring
Keyhole
Bricks
You gotta question authority.
60 at a wall
what happened to our conviction?
