Mystic in the mist
the star of the darkness
draping my glowing essence
for miles
everyone sees
as I bow on the stage
behind me is a watercolor curtain.
For a moment, spotlighted by the sun
the lights dim as I swiftly step cloud by cloud up
waiting in my position until the crowd quiets down
eclipsing that sun out of sight
for now, I am the shining star of night
