Innocent
Why is it not like before?
When everyone stood by my side
I always got a perfect score
Even when I barely tried;
I believed in everything
And everyone believed in me
In my simple, uncomplicated life
Where no worries troubled me.
Now things are different
It’s hard to tell what’s right
Seems like no one’s by my side
In this dystopian fight,
But despite all these changes
From childhood to adult
I have these voices deep inside
Constantly reminding me that
I still am an innocent.
that is really inspiring!
i liked it a lot.
