Under the light, darkness shall wait
Darkness laughs as light takes the bait
No matter how fast light shall go
Darkness is waiting for his foe
This game of theirs they did create
Darkness, the light you do berate.
Scold not the light for being late
You’re beneath his blanket aglow
Under the light
Although you fight don’t separate
You’re intertwined by more than fate
While we can’t see the love below
There is more than you let us know
It’s for the light dark does wait
Under the light
