Tennis Ball
The Tennis player waits,
In a stance low to the ground,
Racket in hand.
A green fuzz flies through the air,
Swaying,
She brings her racket back,
Lifts off the ground,
Swinging through her body,
A violent forehand.
She stays in the air,
When she starts to descend,
POP! Her legs disappear,
BUMP! Her arms become stumps,
She rolls into a ball,
Her pale skin now green,
Clear head now fuzzy,
She bounces,
Pain echoes throughout her body,
Flying through the air,
Over the net,
To do the rally again.
