Just Out Of Sight..

Never out of heart or mind,
just briefly out of sight.
At the moment there's something sorrowful,
but time will make it right.
For now I'll hang a lantern,
hopefully that will shine some light.
So when you've lost your way,
you won't stumble in the night.
You know the path to my heart,
and when you return things will be alright.
But until then I'll just sit here,
waiting for you to make life bright.
Sitting in the darkness,
with you just briefly out of sight.
