Chains of Freedom
You have me locked down,
but for some reason I feel free
What they call chains,
I call silver wings
And with them I fly,
with you I fly.
Soar like a jet,
with you being my fuel
And may I never run out.
It was your air that opened
the door to my rock
And your presence
that awoke me
It was you stare
that enticed me
And your arms that dressed me
with my silver wings.
lifting me up so high
The breath from your words
allowing me to fly
so high
I became taller
than mountain tops
And in touch with things
greater than Earth itself
You have me locked down
but for some reason I feel free
What they call chains,
I call silver wings.
