from sea to shining sea,
to the scales across the spine,
the majesty of our waters shows itself as fine.
with eyes like fire and dressed to kill,
in a blue kaleidoscope fit,
jaws of might rise above rocky waves,
holding power no sailor wants to admit.
a beast unable to miss,
an opportunity one cannot deny,
the capture went undergo,
and the king I called him mine.
