as you lied
I want to hate you, but I don’t.
Still long to hold you, but I won’t.
You broke my heart.
You stole my pride.
Why won’t you just admit you lied.
You swore you loved me.
You’d never leave me.
And now there’s no one by my side.
Don’t want to love you, yet I do.
You promised me you’d love me too.
But now I’m broken.
Now I’m empty.
I put all the blame on you.
You said you promised.
I thought you cared.
But now you’ve made me quite aware.
You were the same.
I’ve should’ve seen.
It was on you, I couldn’t lean.
And now I’m burned.
My heart is worn.
Its been beaten, bruised, and torn.
You broke my heart.
You stole my pride.
I just sat there as you lied.
