Let's think back to long ago,
A once upon a time,
When things were much simpler then
And life was sweet and fine.
Let's turn back o summer skies,
To barefoot days and humid nights.
When we were free as the withering air
That tossed and stole our kites.
Let's slip back to younger years
And days of calmer times.
When the tick and tock of the clock
Gave rhythm to our rhymes.
