As You Close Your Eyes
As you close your eyes,
And go to sleep,
Holding your teddy bear tight,
May sweet dreams greet you.
As you drift into a,
Deep peaceful sleep,
The stars that shoot across,
The dark sky,
And with the sliver moon,
A silver dollar in the sky,
Watch over you.
When the world is quiet,
And no creature moves,
Or makes a sound,
And when you close your eyes,
And go to sleep,
The moon and stars will,
Watch over you,
And make sure there,
Are no monsters under your bed.
As you close your eyes,
And drift to sleep,
May sweet dreams greet you.

I really liked it! Did you write it for some little person in your life? 'Cuz if it were a song, I would totally sing it to one of my baby sisters...
